EUGEN CASIMOV (Viola)

Born in Kishinev, former USSR, in 1990. At the age of six he began his

violin studies in Russia, where in 2005 he obtained the title equivalent

to the high music school in the Academy of Arts of Tambov. The same

year he moved to Barcelona, where he later began to play the viola. In

2013 he began his studies of baroque violin and baroque viola at the ESMUC with Professor Emilio Moreno and historical percussion with Pedro Estevan. In February 2018 he finished his Bachelor Degree studies as violinist and violist of historically informed interpretation.

He has been awarded the first prize of the Chamber Music Podiums of Sant Joan de Vilatorrada (2010) with the chamber group Goethe Klarinettenquintett and the second prize of the International Competition of Young Performers of Russia (2004). He has also received master classes from Manfredo Kraemer, Emmanuel Balssa, Luca Guglielmi, Paco Rubio, Soledad Vicente, Heriberto Fonseca, Francisco Guarne, Sonia Medina, Pedro Cassolleres, Xavier Diaz-Latorre, among others.

His concert activity has led him to collaborate with different chamber ensembles, such as the Violin Band of the ESMUC, and with historical interpretation formations such as the 24 violins of the ESMUC. He is the founder of the Orquesta Barroca Tormentosa Pensieri and the Memento Vivere group.

GAYANE MNATSACANYAN (Pianoforte)

Graduada en el Conservatorio estatal “S. Rachmaninov “de Rostov, en la especialidad de piano (profesora N. Simonova, 2012).

Posgrado en “conjunto de músicos de cámara” con el profesor M. Cherniy, 2014.

Premios en Competiciones Internacionales (pianoforte):

“Musica y Inspiracion” 1r premio, Gyumri (Armenia), 2010

”Revival“ 4 primio Rostov,2009

Premio “Mejor pianista-acompañadora” del concurso internacional de ciudad de Pesaro (Italia), 2013

Diploma de participación al concurso “Stasys Vainyunas” para conjuntos de cámara, Vilnius (Lituania), 2014

Trabajó como pianista-acompañadora de la Filarmonica de Krasnodar, 2015-2016.

Directora del departamento de concertino en Interschool “Unesco”

Participó en varias” clases magistrales”, tanto en Rusia como en Europa, con profesores de renombre mundial: Leo Shugom, Vladimir Dyche, Vincenzo Baltsani, Valery Krol, Sergei Osipenko, Giuseppe Sabbatini, etc.

Actualmente vive en Barcelona y se dedica a la actividad concertista y docente.
